HeadsUp Communications LLC a 2006 Atlanta based company comprised of educators of effective negotiation skills and event marketing are hosting a two-day intensive negotiations training October 18-20, 2012 in Chicago Illinois followed by one additional day, April 25, 2013. The event will kick-off with a networking event and sit-down dinner on the first night followed by two days of negotiation training which will include all meals and networking events. Hotel specials are available. During the event participants will have the opportunity to hear from several negotiation specialist including John Horton, Simon Kennedy Rose and Dr. Radu Ionescu among others.
A number of the trainers are also highly regarded authors, corporate negotiators, corporate trainers and keynote speakers. For instance, Mr.John Horton the Co-founder and Director of Training for HeadsUp Communications LLC is a graduate of Clemson University with an MBA from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. He has over 30 years of corporate experience as a gifted motivational speaker and facilitator of leadership, team-building, negotiation, and sales skills for companies and associations worldwide. Mr. Horton spent the better part of his career working within Milliken. Mr. Horton is one of the first facilitators to be certified by Franklin Covey, Inc. in the ‘The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People’ and ‘The 4 Roles of Leadership’. These seminar themes and principles resonate in all of Mr. Horton’s workshops, keynotes, and consulting. Simon Kennedy Rose is a London-born British citizen and alumni of the Manchester Business School. Mr. Kennedy Rose has over two decades of professional experience divided between the United States, UK, Europe and Asia. Between high school and whilst at university Mr. Kennedy Rose worked for a regional investment management firm before and during the 1987 October crash, introducing and advising clients. Following this he joined a private institutional advisory firm whose clients included J P Morgan, Nomura, and Shearson Lehman. Mr. Kennedy Rose’s involvements span the sectors of finance, construction, pharmaceuticals, business services, manufacturing, publishing, education and information technology. Prior to the outbreak of hostilities with Iraq, Mr. Kennedy Rose spent three and a half years based in Turkey, where he had reciprocal arrangements with Granit Group, one of the leading consultancy firms in Istanbul. A creative specialist in marketing and business strategy, he has held positions at both executive and non-executive levels, in addition to consulting on business start-ups, joint ventures and international trade deals.
Dr. Radu Ionescu is the Owner of Resources Development & Ideas (RDI). Dr. Ionescu has been educated in negotiation through the Economic University Wien Austria and with NEGOTIATE Ltd of the UK. Dr. Ionescu has trained more than 4000 people in negotiation, selling and purchasing, mediation, conflict management and coaching, from various public and private organizations, including Adobe, Coca-Cola, Johnson & Johnson, Porsche and Xerox. Dr. lonescu has also held training in negotiation for the Diplomatic Academy for the employees of the Romanian Foreign Affairs Ministry. Dr. Ionescu was also the consultant for 14 districts and major cities in Romania helping them to understand and apply the benefits and opportunities of the new public finance laws in developing their regions.
“The World Negotiator Forum Entrepreneurial Bootcamp being held in Chicago will be one of the year’s best events,” according to bootcamp attendee Corey Hubbard, CEO and founder of InKooHub Ventures. Corey Hubbard is one of the many entrepreneurs who will be in attendance at this world class event. The Chicago project will be the first purchase of 30,000 square feet of real estate in a series of real estate transactions that will total 10 million square feet of multi-use properties in urban areas nationwide under a centralized common ownership and management structure. There will be a liquidation event by taking the venture public by forming a real estate investment trust.
