08/08/2012 (press release: Jgerlach) // Chicago, IL, USA // Media Relations HeadsUp Communications LLC

HeadsUp Communications LLC’s Chicago Events Promotion and Marketing Headquarters would like to announce the addition of Mr. John Horton to both our Fall and Spring negotiation trainer lists. He will be training and speaking at both the World Negotiator Entrepreneurial Bootcamp 2012 and the World Negotiator Forum 2013. Mr. Horton is the Co-founder and Director of Training for HeadsUp Communications LLC. A graduate of Clemson University with an MBA from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, he has over 30 years of corporate experience as a gifted motivational speaker and facilitator of leadership, teambuilding, negotiation, and sales skills for companies and associations worldwide. Those that have heard Mr. Horton speak say he “is no mere mortal” brings a “professional approach and passion (for what he does) that he is exhilarating” and has “a knack for involving, teaching, and transferring knowledge” and that his “enthusiasm coupled with his extensive knowledge captured the audience and did not let go of them.” Mr. Horton is one of the first facilitators to be certified by Franklin Covey, Inc. in the ‘The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People’ and ‘The 4 Roles of Leadership’. These seminar themes and principles resonate in all of Mr. Horton’s workshops, keynotes, and consulting.

According to Robert Snow, Senior Events Promotion and Marketing Manager for HeadsUp Communications LLC, “Mr. Horton brings a level of professionalism and inspiration to the way he runs a meeting. He is amazing with his energy, his focus, and his momentum as he engages his audience. He breaks down the content in a way that everyone in the room remains fresh and enthusiastic about the material.”

“The role of an outstanding educator is to help people experience, discuss and ‘discover’, and then internalize the information and skills that enable them to have a shift in their behavior. This facilitates the acquisition of knowledge by establishing the path and challenging the participants. For this to be successful, the trainer must have a passion and thorough knowledge of the material. They must be enthusiastic and facilitate the ebb and flow like an orchestra conductor. Enhancing the professional and personal lives of people through education is one of the most fulfilling parts of my being,” stated John Horton.
