Rising Southern Rocker, Gary Lee Jeffries, Makes A Bold Stand On MainSt. For Middle Class America

/EINPresswire.com/ Tenacious US artist is “ready to throw a street party of epic proportion and raise the spirit of the American backbone community to its feet,” who straight out, “wants his voice heard” to evoke real change.

Gary Lee Jeffries, known for his hard hitting vocals with former bands, Asphalt Ballet (Virgin Records) and Alligator Stew, award winning music videos (MTV, CMT and GAC-TV) and songs featured on TV and film, returns to his roots of Monticello, IN, he claims is, “the very heartland of middle class America,” to headline the MainStreet Music Fest on July 27 with his band of “stellar” players:

-Brett Mullins, “fret-smokin” lead guitar
-Steve Fletcher, “easy greasy” bass guitar
-Gary John Higgins, “dynamic” synth/keyboards, just off tour with American Idol finalist (Season 7)
-Randy Trent, “velocity” drums/percussions

Jeffries is globally embraced by fans for his down-to-earth honesty, emblazoned in his songs of pride and true grit. He is reputed as a “… singer of the first rank”, by Luc Brunot, of French rock magazine, Bands of Dixie and is marked by C.J. Plain, of TapDetroit’s Back Roads Radio, as a musician who is “… full of grit, determination, and never say die attitude”.

With top scores under his belt as Best Artist, Best Vocalist and Best Album, Middle Class Man (Annual Readers’ Poll 2011, Bands of Dixie, French rock magazine), acclaims are echoed from across the Atlantic:

-“What Gary Jeffries gets out of his throat is truly intoxicating. He just has a cool, raspy voice that goes to the marrow.” Lars Schuckar, Idioglosia Musikreviews (Germany)
-“… an endearing rocker, an honest and uncompromising artist who doesn’t calculate and who gives all to the music he loves.” Luc Brunot, Sweet Home Music (France)
-“Gary Jeffries plea for the middle class has been absolutely top class. “Middle Class Man” is for me, one of the best Southern Rock albums of the millennium.” Daniel Daus, RockTimes (Germany)

CHANGE
But, for Jeffries, it’s all about change. “I ache for my friends and neighbors. I feel strong about my single, “Middle Class Man,” where I raise my voice for the people.” He explains, “I know how hard it is to make it these days. Many employers are taking advantage of job shortages and making us do more work for less, or threatening that they will ship more of our jobs overseas. I’m not getting political here, but I just need to say my piece.” He upholds, “It is our forefathers and mothers who built this great nation into what it is, by their toil with sweat off their backs. My dream is that we can work together to problem solve and regain our middle class quality, standard of living.” He concludes, “Let not our spirits go further down the rabbit hole. Join me, in bringing pride and true music back to the streets!”
