Orange County hair salon Julian Hans is enthusiastic about Victoria Beckham’s new hair style, and what it can mean for people considering a new style. Early this morning, former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham posted a picture and tweeted about her new hairstyle from a Beijing hotel room, sporting one of the hottest looks on the catwalks right now. The so-called Baggy Braid is a great way for women with longer hair to have a stylish look, but be casual enough to fit in just about everywhere.
“The whole idea is it’s easy to do, easy to maintain, and it looks good,” said Saverio Ravenda, owner of the Orange County hair salon. “The important thing to remember is that it has to look natural, and you need healthy hair to get the full effect, so conditioner is a must, but choose one that is right for your type of hair.”
One of the best hair salons Orange County has to offer, being a Redken Education Salon of the Year in 2001, Julian Hans are avid supporters of individual style, and believe that Beckham’s new look will urge others to try things they might have been reluctant to try in the past. Ravenda thinks this is going to become a go-to style for many celebrities, due in part and despite low maintenance requirements.
Julian Hans would know, too. It has been the hair salon Orange County has turned to for decades now, especially when it comes to the most recent looks and cutting-edge styles. In this case, the messy braids look first made its debut this past February, but even that also seems to be a modification of the style last Autumn, and Julian Hans has seen this style develop and many others for a number of years. According to Ravenda, the past year has been particularly kind to the faux-natural look and its easy style, easy maintenance means this is a look that will probably be with us for quite some time.
“The important thing to remember,” says Ravenda, “is that people don’t go to just any Orange County hair salon. You have to give them something special, like great customer service, but at the end of the day, your client has to look great first and foremost. You can do everything else right, but if a client doesn’t look fantastic, nothing else matters.”
