Mobilozophy, LLC., a mobile marketing technology and services provider, announced today it has entered into a patent licensing agreement with Helferich Patent Licensing, LLC (Helferich), a company with a portfolio of 55 patents and applications around the world relating to the distribution of content via mobile messaging (such as SMS and MMS messaging). Companies using Mobilozophy’s mzConnect mobile marketing platform for “text to shortcode” programs can now include URLs, World Wide Web addresses, and links in their text marketing messages.
Under the agreement terms, Mobilozophy’s mzConnect is approved to use Helferich’s licensed-technology, enabling our clients the option to incorporate URLs within their text messages for driving consumer engagement to the client’s web accessible content without risk of patent infringement liability to Helferich.
