Light Weapons Photographic and Batteries Project Team, Elm 3c, #4326, MoD Abbey Wood, Bristol BS34 8JH have awarded a 3 year repair contract with and estimated value of £352,670 for the repair of Trijicon Inc Advanced Combat Optical Gunsight (ACOG).
Beechwood Equipment is the sole UK distributor for Trijicon Inc and have supplied and supported UK MOD with several fleets of 1X, 4X and 6X ACOG sights since 1999. The contract was placed using the negotiated procedure without prior publication pursuant to Article 28(1)(e) of the Directive 2009/81/EC and Regulation 16(1)(a)(ii) of Defence and Security Public Contracts Regulations 2011.
Beechwood Equipment is based in Surrey and was founded in 1987. The company is ISO9000 and ISO14000 accredited and is an approved MoD supplier NCAGE: KOF-83.
