Legendary Boston Red Sox superstar Jim Rice just wrapped filming a TV commercial with crooner Brian Evans, the writer and singer of the hit single “At Fenway,” which recently hit #3 on Amazon.com’s best seller’s list.
Most surprising is, the song hit the best seller list in November, during football season.
“It has always been my consensus that the park is a magical place,” says Brian Evans. “It was important to me that people remembered what it’s all about. We all only live once, and this song, for me, is about enjoying part of that life at a place that is full of positive messages and good,” he says. “No matter where you sit, you’re in heaven for a little bit.”
The commercial, shot for Best Buy, will begin running on January 23rd. It was filmed at The Groveland Diner in Groveland, Massachusetts.
Evans, who has opened for the likes of Jay Leno, Joan Rivers, and Social Distortion, is working on his debut album under legendary music producer Narada Michael Walden. Walden produced “At Fenway,” and is named as one of the top ten music producers of all time by Billboard Magazine.
