Insurance Companies Refuse to Pay for Teen Weight Loss Surgery—I Agree!

Health insurance companies won’t cover weight loss surgeries for teens, and I actually have to agree with them on this.

For once in my life I am on the health insurance company’s side. I couldn’t agree more with the article and its reasoning behind not covering the surgeries. Teens should explore every other avenue to lose weight before choosing surgery. Young adults have more stamina than older adults to exercise and lose weight, and should try losing it the “right way” before taking a shortcut.
