“Twice a year we go through all of our fabrics, clear out some of the older stock and bring in fresh new fabrics and patterns,” said Jon Wilken, owner of Fashion Window Treatments. “All of the new fabrics are in keeping with the latest trends. For example, most are very transitional patterns, while some are more traditional.”
The latest fabric materials available through Fashion Window Treatments are in linen, cotton and cotton blends, such as cotton-polyester and cotton-rayon. They are used to create custom window treatments, including drapes, curtains, valances, swags, jabots, shower curtains and Roman shades at reasonable prices. The Virginia-based company also creates affordable coordinating custom bedding, such as covers, duvets, pillows and pillow shams.
Also new this fall are two valance designs. One has a more custom banded look, while the other has a box pleat with a more modern twist. There with be another new custom valance design available in the near future, once the design phase is complete.
The fabric selection at Fashion Window Treatments is currently between 350 and 400 choices. Customers can also supply their own fabric, if they prefer. Once the order is placed, the made-to-measure custom home decor products and custom window treatments are typically ready in 7 to 10 days.
