It’s all part of an end of the year special in recognition of National Dental Hygiene Month, which falls in October, the same month as Halloween. While Green Dental in no way wants to take the fun away from Halloween in LA, it does raise a concern about the amount of candy the average child in Los Angeles consumes on the holiday and afterwards, and the effects it can have on their dental health.
To celebrate National Dental Hygiene Month, Green Dental, Sherman Oaks dentist, will be holding a Halloween Candy Buyback late October and early November. Families will be able to visit the office and return their portions of uneaten candy, bought back at $1 per pound. While patients cash in on Green Dental generosity, the candy is then donated to worthy causes, such as charities for children, needy families, and even troops overseas. In addition, Green Dental will be offering free initial consultations for children as a way of welcoming families to their practice.
