VIZIMAX Opening New Office in Brazil

/EINPresswire.com/ VIZIMAX, an independent manufacturer of innovative Automation Systems for Grid Modernization (Smart Grid), is pleased to announce that it has opened a new office in Sao Paulo to handle more efficiently the growing demand for Vizimax’s products in Brazil.

The Sao Paulo office expands Vizimax’s ability to offer local sales and support services to its fast growing base of customers and prospects in the country.
More and more Brazilian electric utilities, independent power producers, power equipment manufacturers are interested in VIZIMAX products, which include the SynchroTeq and the RightWON product lines.

The SynchroTeq Product Line

The SynchroTeq point-on-wave switching platform complies with ALL High Voltage C/Bs in capacitor bank, shunt reactor, and power transformer applications. The SynchroTeq reduces stresses on electric networks and on high voltage power equipment, lowers maintenance cost and increases the lifespan of expensive power equipment. The SynchroTeq Plus has a residual flux management module for power transformer re-energization and is implemented at the end of transmission lines or at sensitive points of transmission lines.

The RightWON Product Line

As for the RightWON, it is a secure, modular, rugged automation all-in-one PLC/RTU/Gateway/Switch/Protocol Converter device that connects C/Bs, sensors, control and monitoring devices at the substation or pole-top levels. The RightWON makes it possible for legacy Medium and High Voltage Power Equipment to be Smart Grid-Ready affordably. The RightWON is field-upgradable and allows sized-to-fit configurations using I/O, LAN, WAN and Telecom smart plug-ins. Protocols include IEC 61850, DNP3, Modbus and IEC60870 among others.

“I am very enthusiast about joining the Vizimax team to expand its reach in Brazil. I am already seeing a significant interest in our products in the Sao Paulo region,” said Harald Lotz, Vice-President – Energy Latin America.
