Do Menu Calorie Counts Help Make Better Eating Decisions?

The debate continues on whether or not calorie counts in menus help people make better eating decisions.

While there needs to be more research into whether or not calorie counts help make better eating decisions, I wholeheartedly believe that the calorie counts will help many individuals–including myself. If the calorie counts are presented to me in the menu, along with the food item, I do take that calorie count into consideration before making my choice. I don’t believe putting the calorie counts will do any harm by being there, if anything they will help make better consumers.
