Study: College Student’s Memory Loss May Be Tied to Binge Drinking

A recent study links binge drinking in college students to a lowered ability to remember lists of words.

This study is absolutely ridiculous! The report itself even says “research doesn’t prove alcohol is at fault and the drinkers did fine on a separate memory test.” I was once a college student and a member of Greek life, and did my fair share of college partying. I was still a Dean’s List student. I don’t believe drinking has anything to do with it, maybe it’s just course work overload.
