Florida Bill Wants to Ban Doctors from Asking Parents About Guns

Florida Governor Rick Scott is expected to sign a bill to keep pediatricians from educating patients about gun safety.

I do not support or agree with this bill at all. Pediatricians most certainly should educate their patients about safety issues that their child may encounter. Many parents don’t have any support or guidance from others, so their pediatrician is their only guidance to be a good parent. There is nothing wrong in trying to prevent a tragedy.
