FDA Report: Hand Sanitizers Don’t Protect Against MRSA Infection

Four hand sanitizer and antiseptic companies were accused of making false claims that their products prevent the potentially-lethal MRSA infection.

There really is no replacement for the traditional soap and water approach to killing germs. It’s not fair for companies to make such bold statements, like their product kills MRSA, because it puts many people in danger who think that their hands are germ-free. I’m glad to see the FDA cracking down on such companies.
