Hollywood, Calif. – Fans are buying DVDs of The Other Guys, the hit movie starring Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg, according to DVD sales tracking companies and fan site www.TheOtherGuys.com.
The Other Guys DVD and Blu-Ray disc debuted on December 14th, and with four weeks under its belt, it has sold over 1.4 million copies. Sales this week of over 183,000 DVDs ranks the movie at number 11 overall.
The “Unrated Other Edition” Blu-Ray disc includes both the theatrical and extended versions of the movie with over 100 minutes of bonus content, according to Sony.
Directed by Adam McKay and also starring Dwayne Johnson, Samuel L. Jackson, and Eva Mendes, The Other Guys action comedy has grossed nearly $190 million worldwide.
