“The proposed privacy system could revolutionize the online advertising and marketing industry, and potentially put billions in revenue in limbo, leaving marketers anxiously waiting to see what’s next. The controversial Do Not Track proposal would essentially enable consumers to opt out of being “spied on,” while they are surfing the World Wide Web,” said Rene Perras. I think the new measure will be good for consumers, but it might also hurt the economy and cause some to lose their jobs.
