Lee, a REALTOR(R) with the well-known Ashford Realty Group in Colorado Springs, which has a large client base of military families, says that a perfect storm of low prices and low interest rates, combined with military BAH housing subsidies for off-base housing, are driving soldiers and airmen here into home ownership.

Lee says that in the past, many Air Force or Army couples opted to live on base. Now they are seeing the value and the freedom of living in a Colorado Springs home that belongs to them.
