Industry experts explore online opportunities to save horse racing.

Las Vegas, NV –November 15, 2010–Tens of thousands of gaming executives from around the world, including those associated with horse racing, attend the Global Gaming Expo each year in Las Vegas, NV, looking for information and insight on how to succeed in the fiercely competitive gaming marketplace. Racetrack, racino, and ADW operators are invited to attend a special panel focused on online opportunities. “Can They Save Racing?” is being held Wednesday, November 17, at 11:45 a.m., inside the Las Vegas Convention Center, Room N107.
The panel will be moderated by Tony Fontaine, President of ProPick Racing. Along with Tony, other panelists include Todd Roberts, CEO of Roberts Communications; Robert Holmes, President of RaceUwin.com; and Michael Calderone, CEO of Horse Racing Simulation LLC. The panel will not only discuss the challenges and opportunities facing new Internet account wagering enterprises in the horse racing industry, but explore the new technologies and content distribution platforms needed to develop and expand horse racing’s fan base; the importance of generating player interest through education and game play; new residential distribution of 80 simultaneous channels of racing; the inside perspective from a start-up Internet wagering operator; and the development of new online wagering applications.
