Chinese wind turbine manufacturer will continue to license Fuhrlander technology
July 29, 2010 — Chinese wind energy systems provider A-Power Energy Generation Systems has renewed its licensing agreement with German wind company Fuhrlander.
The renewing of the licensing agreement means that A-Power will continue to manufacture, operate, service and sell throughout China 2.5 megawatt wind turbines using Furhlander’s F2500 technology.
“This license agreement with Fuhrlander represents a great opportunity for A-Power to bolster its position in the market of high capacity 2.5MW turbines, as the wind industry is increasingly transitioning to higher capacity turbines,” Mr. Jinxiang Lu, Chairman and CEO, commented.
