REDONDO BEACH, CA – JULY 19, 2010 — Some of the most beautiful and accomplished married women from across the State of California met for the 2010 Mrs. California-America Pageant which took place at the beautiful Crowne Plaza Redondo Beach & Marina Hotel on Sunday, July 11th. The talented and notable judging panel had a difficult decision to make and any one of the competitors could have been selected Mrs. California(R). Before a large audience of supporters for all the competitors, Stefani Norville of Folsom, CA captured the coveted title of Mrs. California-America 2010. Stefani will leave for Tucson, AZ in September to compete with State winners from every State and the District of Columbia in the Mrs. America Pageant. Mrs. America is the first and foremost competition for married women emphasizing that America’s 70 million women are extraordinarily beautiful, poised, articulate and versatile. Mrs. America is celebrating its 35th anniversary. The winner of Mrs. America will travel to Seoul South Korea to compete in the Mrs. World Pageant.
This year’s Mrs. California-America was a banner year for former Mrs. America State Queens. In attendance and part of the program were ten State and National Mrs. America Queens. Loni Kallay, Mrs. Nevada-America 1988, Director for Mrs. California-America; Pam Plenys, Mrs. California-America 1992, Stage Manager for Mrs. California-America; Cheryl Kalil, Mrs. California-America 1993; Deborah Ashton-Cooke, Mrs. California-America 1998; Jenny Lee, Mrs. California-America 2000; Sheryl Ellison, Mrs. California-America 2006; Tiffany Ellison, Mrs. California-America 2008; Traci Fox-Harvey, Mrs. Nevada-America 2004; Emily Stark, Mrs. Colorado-America 2002 and a member of the judging panel; and Andrea Preuss, Mrs. America 2006 who crowned Stefani Norville as Mrs. California(R). The audience was entertained throughout the event by several talented entertainers along with the incredible singing voice of Mrs. California-America 1993, Cheryl Kalil.
