June 22, 2010 Orlando, FL (WiredPRnews) – When it comes to creating a blog or newsroom there is no shortage of online services available. In the past I have used mainstream sites such as WordPress, Google’s Blogger, Squidoo and Weebly. Although each site has its own strengths I have never felt that they truly gave me everything I was looking for in a complete package. Recently I was introduced to Vision Smart News and can say with confidence that it is by far the best site I have worked with to date.

Setting up your newsroom with Vision Smart requires no experience or knowledge in website creation. The web based Online Newsroom software provides you with fields to plug basic information into which set the framework for the whole site. Customizing your background is simple with the option to upload your own design or use preset themes which can be changed to reflect your desired color scheme. It is also important to note that with Online Newsroom software Vision Smart your site can be a simple one page blog or a complete website with multiple pages and limitless content. You are in control of what you want others to see and after only minutes of setup your site will be ready to go.

Once your online newsroom is up and running publishing news is an enjoyable experience. One feature that really stands out is Vision Smart’s artificial intelligence system that suggests tags for content relieving the writer of needing to know SEO and helping the article gain favorable ratings on search engines. News published with Vision Smart automatically gets picked up by major search engines, news wires and social networking sites. This is one of the major differences between Vision Smart News and other programs I’ve used in the past. Almost immediately after publishing a press release to my newsroom it could be found on page one of a Google search.

One of my favorite features of Vision Smart is the social network integrations. In the past I have used Ping.fm to post news to multiple social sites at one time. Vision Smart takes this concept to the next level. Once you publish news to your newsroom the Vision Smart software then creates a tiny url using an integration into your personal Bit.ly account and posts the news as updates on your Twitter and Facebook pages. For time pressed individuals I have never seen a better way to get wide spread coverage of your news. In comparison to Ping, Vision Smart cuts out the entire step of personally pushing out the news and then adds the benefit of click through analytics with the use of Bit.ly.

The only con I’ve found to Vision Smart is that they do not currently integrate with Hootsuite’s API so that users can track all of their social network click through analytics in one place. When weighed out with the numerous advantages of the software, this one item is minuscule. Overall, I would highly recommend using Vision Smart’s online newsroom for anyone looking to create a presence online.
