Warehouse and Showroom Will Close – Furniture will be Liquidated – Regardless of Cost! Nazareth Pennsylvania June 18, 2010 — American Furniture and Mattress was founded in 1999, by Robert Hahn and his family. Working as a local family business, the Hahn’s have provided thousands of Lehigh Valley residents with fine quality home furnishings at the lowest prices in the area. For more than a decade, Mr. Hahn built the reputation of providing a wide selection of merchandise, the lowest prices, and greatest service found in the Lehigh Valley. Mr. Hahn’s decision to close his showroom and warehouse to reorganize was difficult, but “necessary” as stated by the owner.
Mr. Hahn the owner and President of American Furniture continued his comments by saying: “The total liquidation of our store and warehouse will begin on June 24th and last only as long as inventory remains.” Hahn went on to say, “We have price reductions of up to 75% on every item in the store including living rooms, bedrooms, dining sets, recliners, and accent items.. Over $3 million dollars of fine home furnishings will be sold as quickly as possible at the lowest prices in the store’s history.” Hahn continued, “Every item in our multi-million dollar inventory will be sold, regardless of cost to allow us to reorganize. This is a wall-to-wall total liquidation sell-off to allow us to restructure our business.”
Mr. Hahn further commented about the store closing to reorganize by saying: “Although I am disappointed by the closing of my current operations, I hope to reorganize in the future. This event will let me say “Thank You” to all of my local customers by offering prices lower than any time in our history. We have been a part of the community for decades and I take great pride in servicing our customers. All open orders from all customers will be filled and we will continue to service all products sold from our store. As the area’s largest independent home furnishings dealer we will not let our customers down.
The decision to close the showroom and warehouse was made by Robert Hahn, who revealed plans this week for the store closing event. In announcing the closing, Hahn stated, “The decision to close the store was difficult. I would like to continue serving the Lehigh Valley by providing the largest independently-owned home furnishing’s retailer of quality furniture and mattresses”. This re-structuring plan will allow me to do just that. Hahn continued saying “We’ve decided to offer prices below our costs to insure that everything is sold, regardless of cost. This event will give the area residents the opportunity to own fine home furnishings at once-in-a-lifetime savings while allowing me to show my appreciation for their past support for me and my family”.
