Tango Furniture Direct To Close After Court Ordered Liquidation

/EINPresswire.com/ Wilmington, North Carolina – June 11, 2010 — Tango Furniture Direct is going out of business and will soon close its doors forever. By the direction of the liquidating Trustee assigned by the Circuit Court of the City of Norfolk, and pursuant to Virginia code 13.0-1048, Tango Furniture Direct has been ordered to immediately liquidate every item in their multi million dollar inventory at 11 South Kerr Avenue, Wilmington, North Carolina 28403.

The Tango Furniture Direct going-out-of-business total liquidation will begin on Thursday, June 17th. The court appointed Trustee commented on the event saying: “We have directed price reductions of up to 75% on every item in the store from well-known manufacturers. Over $4 million at cost will be liquidated as quickly as possible at the lowest prices in the store’s history. Every item in the Tango Furniture Direct multi-million dollar inventory must be sold, regardless of cost. This is a wall-to-wall total liquidation sell-off.”

Tango’s products come directly in containers from the factories around the world. The owners of Tango Furniture Direct have been innovators in furniture importing for over 20 years, providing fine quality products to manufacturers, distributors and other retail stores. Their sourcing experience allowed customers to buy at below wholesale pricing.

The Tango Furniture Direct inventory to be liquidated contains exquisitely crafted, solid English Oak oversized bookcases, display cabinets, architect cabinets, wall units, armoires, tilt-top tables and chests as well as complete bedroom groups and fine crafted upholstery products. Many items are hand crafted antique reproductions. In crafting many of the unique items, the oak was shipped from Europe to the factory where the pieces are produced with skilled craftsmanship. Customers to this liquidation will find antique reproductions, English, Country, French and Italian designs and many unique items, including |Asian-styled occasional tables, consoles and chests that make for special conversational pieces.

The Tango Furniture Direct going-out-of-business total liquidation will begin on Thursday, June 17th, and will continue until all merchandise is sold. Advisors to the event will be Northbrook, Illinois based Deere Park & Associates, one of the leading consultants to the furniture industry.
