Joined by professional athletes, celebrities, city and state officials and South Florida taste makers, Osi Umenyiora of the NY Giants hosts this established athletic achievement weekend known as the Diamonds In The Rough (DITR) Combine in South Florida.
This 2 day event (Broward & Dade) is a athletic training course that will allow high school students going into their the JV and Varsity Football standings, to improve their skills in several combine challenges including Vertical Jumps, 3 Cone Drills, 1 on 1 Drills, 40 Yard Dashes, Obstacle Courses and many more. This will provide individual athletic stats to be recorded in a professional sport environment, giving coaches and college and NFL athletic scouts better insight into a player’s true performance.
The Friday before the start of the Combine events a Black Tie Ceremony will be held at Lockhart Stadium Field for the athletic achievers of DITR. DITR will Celebrate and honor feature student athletes who through hard work, perseverance, and talent have earned athletic scholarships to attend college, as well as local coaches who have shown great coaching ability over the years.
