Even picture perfect pets piddle, and improper clean up is not only unsanitary but could possibly be hazardous to your pets. Additionally, instinct often demands that your pet “mark” the same spot over and over again, causing urine to seep deeper into your carpets making it more difficult to clean up. Carpet cleaning by itself does not remove or correct a pet urine problem. Chem-Dry’s trademarked P.U.R.T. (Pet Urine Removal Treatment) professional process guarantees complete urine clean up. If you took a black light to any other process, what would you find?
Why is P.U.R.T so important?
Chem-Dry’s pet urine odor treatment is the absolute best at eliminating urine odor from carpet and upholstery. Chem-Dry’s P.U.R.T.(R) Pet Urine Removal Treatment and Odor Eliminator products can remove most pet stains and odors permanently.
Carpet pet urine odor in carpet is a problem that requires major restoration work, not just a simple carpet cleaning and treating.
Urine deposited on carpet does not stay there; it penetrates the fibers and contaminates both the backing of the carpet and the flooring material below the carpet. Often, without your knowing, pets will urinate continually in the same general location. Urine odors can permeate from the floor, be it cement or wood, from the tack strip, and even from the framework of the house behind the walls.
As the urine dries, the liquid evaporates but the urine crystals become even more concentrated and pungent. Simple cleaning will not remove this odor. Until recently, there was not a product available that was effective at removing urine odors.
