February 8, 2010 /EIN PRESSWIRE/ Toyota is preparing its second recall in recent weeks as sources report Toyota will recall its 2010 Prius Hybrid to inspect the braking system. The announcement could come as early as Tuesday.
The recall is expected to net more than 250,000 Prius vehicles, although that number could go as high as 300,000. The recall will affect third-generation Prius models.
Toyota has already recalled more than 8 million vehicles worldwide due to an issue with the accelerators in several vehicle models.
