Xinergy Corp Announces President Appointment
Knoxville, TN – October 22, 2009 — Xinergy Corp announced today the immediate appointment of Gregory L. “Bernie” Mason to the position of President.

Mr. Mason joins Xinergy with over 30 years of experience in the coal industry. Previously employed by Appalachian Fuels, LLC as Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Mason was accountable for all aspects of a fully integrated mining company, including production, engineering, administration, and sales with revenues in excess of $300 million. Former positions include: Vice President of Technical Services and Business Development with AEI Resources, Inc.; President of Tennessee Mining, Inc.; and Manager of Exploration with Addington Resources, Inc.
Mr. Mason holds a B.S. in Geology from Morehead State University, and resides in Ashland, Kentucky with his wife of thirty-three years, Marilyn.
