Western Conference on Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance

Los Angeles, September 25, 2009 /EIN Presswire/- The American Institute of Engineers, in association with Technology Training Corporation, will host the 6th Western conference on Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance, in Las Vegas, Nevada, November 18-19, 2009.

The conference brings together the key organizations and senior experts who are shaping the direction of ISR requirements and Capabilities. They will examine the problems and potential solutions arising from ongoing gaps in intelligence information sharing, requirements for the new “ISR surge” in Afghanistan, meeting new ISR challenges in irregular and hybrid warfare, and increased roles for ISR assets across the broad range of new and evolving missions and domains. What are the OSD and Service strategies, roadmaps, plans, needs and initiatives for ISR? What are the hurdles in developing interoperable ISR Networks? What role will DCGS play? Unmanned Aircraft? Space-based Assets? Full Motion Video? These and many other critical questions will be addressed.
