As reported by the Dallas Morning News on Wednesday, August 5, 2009, Jack Borden, Esquire celebrates his 101st birthday. The 101 year-old Weatherford real estate and probate attorney was honored this afternoon as the nation’s “Outstanding Oldest Worker for 2009” by the nonprofit organization, Experience Works, which is dedicated to honoring contributions in the workforce by America’s elders and seniors.
The honor is given to workers who are at least 100 years old and actively employed. The Weatherford real estate attorney, Borden, reports to work every morning by 6:30 a.m., handles his uncontested cases in court, and manages his depositions. He is a Veteran, a former mayor, retired from the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and has numerous awards for community service along with his long standing career as a lawyer.
