The Most In-Famous Script In Hollywood Is For Sale, Let’s Observe And Report
Los Angeles, Ca. Feb, 6 — Seth Rogan’s “Observe and report” had its premier Monday Feb. 6 in Los Angeles. But it seems that Seth Has past and opportunity to get a great Movie script for free, now if he wants it, he might just have to buy it, for $50,000.
A feature length script that is circulating around in Hollywood is for sale on the auction site, eBay, for $50,000. Ryan Sebaa is selling the script that he wrote after trying to get Seth Rogen and Judd Apatow to make it. The buzz is more about the story surrounding the Script and how it made the rounds in Hollywood. Ryan wrote a treatment for the film first around the end of the summer of 2007, and he quickly realized it was a genre that Mr. Apatow would be interested in making, so not knowing how to get it to Mr. Apatow, he decided the best bet was to hand it to Judd’s wingman Seth Rogen, and since both Ryan and Seth are Canadian it made sense to try and convince Seth first.
In his website www.sebaar.com , Ryan explains how he got the treatment to Seth in a rather unusual way. But since no news was heard from Seth or Judd, Ryan Decided to write the script himself, sell it and donate the money to none profit organization, SAG FOUNDATION. Ryan jokes in his story that it took him 17 months to reach Seth, but in that time frame Seth had grown to a larger than life movie star, and now it’s easier to get Tom Cruise to read your script than Seth Rogen, even Lindsay Lohan is having hard time getting Seth to make her project.
“MAKING OF SAM’S “HERO” “is the title of the script, it’s a comedy about a high school boy trying to make a film, but has no resources to do so. The script is a steal at that price considering what the writer went through trying to have it made; he even got “detained” for doing so.
