Turkish Airlines plane crash carried people from over 9 different countries.
New York, NY — The International Herald Tribune has just reported over 9 nations were represented on the Turkish Airlines plane crash outside Amsterdam’s Schiphol International Airport on Wednesday. Boeing has confirmed four of the seven Americans flying on Flight 1951 yesterday were employees of the major airplane manufacturer.
Boeing reports they have sent five officials the Amsterdam crash site to help Dutch investigators determine what caused the Boeing 737-800 jetliner to suddenly lose altitude and slam tail first into the ground while approaching Schiphol Airport. The Dutch Safety Board is working to identify the nationalities of 15 other passengers and are working to confirm everyone’s identities and conditions before releasing information to the media. The primary goal to ensure families are properly notified about their loved ones. The pilot and copilot have been confirmed as two of the nine deaths in the fatal aviation accident.
