The proprietary software PrintAlert by Printelligent was released by the CEO of the company, Rob Wellman.
Networked printers of clients will be monitored remotely by the Managed Print Solution from Printelligent. Service programs will now be proactive and flexible.
According to Wellman, their clients needed a service response that is extremely flexible from Printelligent. This response has to be generated from the data collected from their printers. This was the reason for the in-house development of PrintAlert. He added that the required flexibility could not be obtained from any other third-party software application for remote monitoring.
Benefits are numerous with remote monitoring of printers, as is evident with satisfied customers of Printelligent. These include complex consumable proactive service as well as the very simple page count readings.
Programs for service response are customized for each client by Printelligent. Levels of service differed with different printers. The PrintAlert installation eliminates the need for a telephone call from employee of client’s company requesting for service from PrintAlert.
In fact, Printelligent completes the service visit even before the client is aware of the need for one. Other advantages include elimination of the need for physically gathering of printer page counts. Extremely accurate reporting is also another important aspect.
All clients of Printelligent, who are under the Managed Print Solution Service scheme will benefit from the PrintAlert facility free of cost. Over 1200 clients are already under the PrintAlert monitoring scheme of Printelligent. Printelligent acts as a comprehensive print solutions provider for printing needs of companies.
