As per the spokesperson from Disney, Burbank studio has taken a resolution of not exercising the option of co-financing the third film, based on children’s classic books by C.S. Lewis because of the budgetary considerations. Although the movie budget came in considerably below $200 millions of Prince Caspian, in the last series of Narnia films, it could even raise during the production process.
Walt Disney Studio’s decision not to proceed with the Dawn Treader implies how the production is selective while choosing the total amount of releasing pictures.
