The Chopra camp did it for one more time. If it is said that films are the true medium of colors, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi is indeed some magic. It is somewhat a lengthy film with the accurate span of 2 hours 45 minutes and belongs to the Bollywood’s Old school where the movies were of longer time periods. Well, if you are a true Shahrukh Khan fan, it is simply unacceptable to move to your closest theater and miss the movie.
Talking about the storyline of the movie, it is quite interesting. The plot begins with Amritsar’s Surinder Sahni played by Shahrukh Khan. Surinder Sahni is a type of person who is very talented and kind-hearted but innocent in some ways. He marries the daughter of his master, Anushka Sharma as Tanni only like an accident. Surinder was living his life in his own way but the couple faces some difficulties with their different attitudes and natures.
Love! What’s that? A large number of arguments and discussions are in the air regarding this hot topic but still a question that haunts is that of what actually is real love? What is the hard test to prove one’s true love? How can we identify this love? What if one is blind to the true love? All such questions combine together to make the main platform of this movie.
The movie is basically a huge challenge for Aditya Chopra, its director to begin the love story and that too after the couple’s marriage. As this new generation is not at all ready to accept such situations, the director took it as a great challenge and also dared to attempt this kind of a theme. Though the movie is a bit long but it is worth to see Shahrukh performing the superb role. Although King Khan is fantabulous with his role of Sahni, Anushka Sharma was seen as a strong actor after the first 15 minutes of the movie. Even the role played by Vinay Pathak is worth applauding. The cinematography by Ravi K Chandran is pleasant as well with being bright most of the times.
