A Xeikon 8000 has recently been purchased and installed by Strategic Content Imaging or SCI, as an addition to its existing Xeikon 6000 press, according to an announcement by Punch Graphix’s division Xeikon.
SCI President Burt Scherman said there was a significant improvement in their graphics and data on demand delivery to their customer database which is ever expanding after they implemented their first Xeikon’s digital color press. He went on to say that it was easy choosing Xeikon to help improve business. Praising Xeikon’s contribution to their business, he also said adding the Xeikon 8000 is sure to provide them with impressive results and an edge over competitors, by opening up new applications.
Early this year saw the unveiling of the Xeikon 8000. This digital press comes with astonishing features including an image quality of 2300 dpi. Eco friendly print process, optimum productivity, cost effective printing and speed, without a compromise on quality, are some of the significant features of this state of art digital press.
X-800 is a unique front end digital technology from Xeikon. This along with the Productivity Adapted toner technology is incorporated into the latest Xeikon 8000. X-800 is a standard technology which is both modular and intuitive and provides for a work flow which is completely automated in production.
