Soon India would have the ability to send some manned mission all towards to the moon by the year 2020. Also, the second unmanned mission spacecraft would be all set by the year 2012, as per a top ranking space scientist, involved in the highly admired and successful launch of the famous Chandrayaan-1. According to the director of Physical Research Laboratory i.e. PRL, Ahmedabad, Jitendranath Goswami, “if everything goes as per the plan, we will be ready to send a man to moon by 2020”.
The Physical Research Laboratory is the one that has contributed a lot in building a payload known as the X-ray spectrometer, which will look for the water ice in polar areas of the moon. Jitendranath Goswami, who hails all the way from Assam, was interacting with his students, academics and journalists in Guwahati. The space scientist also remarked that maybe in the course of about 50 years or so from the present times, there will be some alternate space in which one could live in Mars. He also reported that he felt highly proud and elated to be an integral part of historic moon plan and also spelt out some other programs in pipeline.
When asked that how was his reactions and feelings on being a part of the Chandrayaan-1, Goswami replied with a modest answer that as a space scientist, he needs miles to go but they are not in any type of hurry. They all are hoping to get the data from this mission Chandrayaan-1 for a very long period of time. The scientist also paid his emphasis on the requirement to help the children get appealed and attracted towards space technology and science by urging their parents to try and do something really inspirational. The scientist said that the guardians as well as parents can greatly inspire their kids to achieve something fruitful in their lives.
