Oscar winning actress Jennifer Hudson’s seven year old nephew, brother and mother were murdered by her ex-con brother-in-law who is under arrest.
The murderer William Balfour aged 27 was arrested from the prison itself in Illinois where he is been held for parole violation. Jennifer’s family was practically blown apart by the killer who was taken into custody by the cops at around 2 PM New York time. He will be charged with murder.
Chicago Sun-Times revealed to a source that the case was circumstantial to a great extent. Hudson’s brother Jason Hudson aged 29 and her mother Darnell Donerson aged 57 were found murdered in their Chicago family home on October 24th. Nephew Julian was however found on the city’s West Side in a Sports Utility Vehicle only three days later. All of them were found to be shot dead.
Since the year 1999, Balfour has been on a parole for being convicted for vehicle hijacking and a murder attempt. He is Julia, Hudson’s sister’s estranged husband.
According to a parole hearing ruling by the Prison Review Board of Illinois, Balfour was guilty of parole violations in certain incidents not related to the murder. These include being present at places where there was drug trafficking and possessing a gun that resembled the murder weapon as testified by his girlfriend.
Although there is no concrete motive for the murders disclosed, the reason is believed to be Julia’s phone call to Balfour asking him to explain about why her paycheck had been looped in to pay for his unpaid car installments.
