After the super hit success of ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na,’ and the not so successful ‘Kidnap,’ one wonders what has happened to Aamir Khan’s nephew and protege, Imran Khan. While he became a household name, like his uncle he is also very picky when it comes to choosing scripts and new movie roles.
Well while he may not have any more films coming out this year, indeed the junior Khan has two new films lined up for 2009, one of which includes his uncles home production, ‘Delhi Belly.’ The film is a touted to be a comedy that will be internationally appealing. Besides this, he also has an action thriller lined up with Sanjay Dutt, his kidnap costar, as well as Shruti Hassan, daughter of Kamal Hassan. The title of the film is ‘Luck.’
Both films will see, Khan in different avatars. While in ‘Delhi Belly’ he will be seen as the scrawny and lean kid next door, ‘Luck’ will feature him buffed up in a new muscular avatar. These films will be released in 2009.
