This is a step in the right direction to help create an even playing field in a difficult economy and a job market saturated with unemployed workers, who are just as eager and able to work as employed applicants. No one should be excluded from the hiring process because they are not currently employed. Everyone should have a fair chance, based on their qualifications, not on their current employment status, says Los Angeles employment lawyer Eric Grover.
