As part of his official visit to Russia, HM King Mohammed VI held talks on Wednesday March 16, 2016 with Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

Talks were held in the presence of the King’s advisor Taieb Fassi Fihri, Economy and Finance minister Mohamed Boussaid, minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, Aziz Akhannouch, Russia’s minister of Agriculture Alexander Tkachev, Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa Mikhail Bogdanov and Deputy Minister of Economic Development Alexey Likhachev.

On the same day, the Sovereign inaugurated at the Pushkin Museum in Moscow, the exhibition “Morocco-Russia: a shared ancient history”.

This exhibition, organized by Morocco’s National Foundation of Museums on the occasion of the King’s official visit to Russia, showcases the long and rich history of the kingdom of Morocco.

The exhibition, which features bronze objects from ancient Roman sites in Morocco as well as Roman sculptures, will run until April, 16th.

Partnership agreements were also signed between the Morocco’s National Foundation of Museums and Russian Hermitage and Kremlin museums.
