Bangkok, Thailand – Cheif of Royal Thai Army General Theerachai Nakvanich presided over the congratulatory and royal worship ceremony to the King of Thailand for the auspicious occasion of His Majesty’s 88th Birthday Celebrations on December 5, 2015.
His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, King Rama IX, was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts in the USA on 5 December 1927 and ascended the throne on 9 June 1946 at the age of 18. More than an icon at the heart of Thai nation, the King is recognized for his dedication to the wellbeing and development of his people, as well as a good understanding and awareness of political and social issues.
General Theerachai Nakvanich was a leader of soldiers to say their pledges that will be a good public servant and will be an important part of Thailand who does the beneficial things to the nation.
The Royal Thai Army has joined the Institute of Pathology under the Phramongkutklao Medical Center to organized blood donation for the auspicious occasion of His Majesty’s 88th Birthday Celebrations on December 5, 2015, at the Phramongkutklao Hospital. General Theerachai Nakvanich has donated blood to give a royal charity.
During this auspicious month, Cheif of Royal Thai Army General Theerachai Nakvanich gave precedence to ensuring and peace caring. He will support all activities of auspicious celebration, according by the Royal Thai Army Spokesman Colonel Winchai Suwaree.
The highlight of this year celebration is the mass bicycle ride Bike for Dad. The government invites Thai people across Thailand and worldwide to join Bike for Dad to celebrate the 88th birthday anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej on Friday, December 11, 2015. His Royal Highness Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn will lead the event in Bangkok.
