Altitude Digital, a video, online display and mobile advertising company, recently hosted a wedding reception for Kirstin and Eugene Han, a couple who were survivors of the Aurora theater shooting last year. The reception took place on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at City Hall Events Center.
Altitude Digital covered the reception’s expenses, including catering, staffing, table settings and other décor. Additionally, company employees invested many hours to plan, organize and emcee the event and as a result, 200 guests joined the couple to celebrate their special occasion.
“We are committed to supporting our community in every single way possible,” says Jeremy Ostermiller, CEO of Altitude Digital. “The couple has overcome so much adversity already, we wanted to give back in the most positive manner possible–hosting their wedding reception is the most memorable gift we could present to the couple.”
Altitude Digital’s support is an extension of the company’s charitable history with the Aurora shooting survivors. Last year, the company partnered with a local building material company to provide housing materials needed to construct a handicapped accessible home for another shooting victim to improve her independent living.
The wedding reception donation was only a part of the many donations the couple received to make their wedding day memorable. Other local vendors donated additional items including venue space provided by City Hall Event Center, Napoli Toms supplied the food, artist P.J. donated one original piece of artwork and Studio C Framing donated a gift certificate for photographs of the celebration.
The extensive community support to give the Han couple the wedding they’ve always dreamed of garnered local and national media attention (Inside Edition, ABC News, World News Tonight, CNN, Piers Morgan Tonight, etc.) enhancing the experience of the celebration.
