After Forcing Customers into Arbitration, AT&T Sues to Stop Arbitration

San Francisco class action attorneys report AT&T ‘s landmark Supreme Court win forcing arbitration over class action suits no longer serves its merger hopes.

After winning a Supreme Court victory forcing consumers to arbitrate claims against the phone giant, AT&T is apparently not so happy that a law firm has started a campaign to fight a potential merger with T-Mobile by lining up as many as 1,000 people to file arbitration claims. With a straight face, AT&T has filed lawsuits in eight different federal courts trying to stop the arbitrations. Perhaps AT&T should have been careful what it wished for.
