A new study suggests the brains of frequent tanners act a lot like those of alcoholics and drug addicts.

Having some color and feeling the crispy-ness after coming out of the hot tanning bed, like you’ve spent the day at the beach is a good feeling I’ve always had after tanning. I can see how people feel a “rewarding effect” from tanning and how some people can become addicted. But, regardless if all the tanning beds are shut down, people can still get the same effect from laying out in the sun. If people want to tan, nothing will stop them.
