Some people will go to extreme lengths to get what they want. Penn Jillette, the larger, louder half of Penn & Teller wants to make his horror movie “Director’s Cut” so badly, that he’s willing to sell the hair right off his head. For $25,000, a person can own Penn Jillette’s ponytail, and have the privilege of cutting it off his head personally.

“It’ll make the perfect addition to anyone’s creepy creepy collection of creepy creepy stuff,” said Jillette. “Now make no mistake, I love having my ponytail attached to my skull, I’ve worn it for years, but I am willing to sever my Samson hair if it helps me get my movie funded.”

Jillette has a crowdfunding campaign on FundAnything.com to raise $999,972 to produce his new film. He has already raised more than $500,000. In addition to owning his ponytail, the person who purchases the privilege of cutting off Jillette’s long mane will also become an Executive Producer of “Director’s Cut.”

Some of the additional incentives for potential contributors to Jillette’s campaign include: Having your name in the ending credits of the film ($20); A VIP Penn & Teller Las Vegas Weekend and backstage magic lesson ($975); The chance to play a cop in the film ($2,400); The chance to play a corpse in the film ($2,600).
