DOT Proposes to ban E-Cigarettes on Planes

The Department of Transportation is proposing to ban the use of the e-cigarettes on planes.

09/21/2011 // WPB, FL, USA // Injury Lawyers News // Nicole Howley

I agree with the DOT’s position on banning e-cigarettes on planes for many reasons. First, we don’t have scientific evidence on what is exactly emitted from the vapor into the air of the enclosed plane. In addition, there are other ways to fix a nicotine craving like chewing nicotine gum or using patches that are used to quit smoking. That way they still get their fix during the flight, but don’t necessarily have to quit.
