Best practices award goes to Label World

Printing Industries of America/Graphic Arts Technical Foundation has as is the custom awarded the Best of the Best 2008 award. This year it goes to “Label World”. This prestigious award is given to the Best Workplace. The HR practices by label world are not only excellent but exemplary. This is the eighth year of the Best Workplace in the Americas program. It was initially introduced by PIA/GATF to motivate and encourage companies to have an invigorating atmosphere.

A highly respected panel of judges reviews the submissions for this award. All of them have proven their worth in the HR world. The award has gone to the Label World for the seventh time. It has consistently shown itself to be above the others in the HR practices followed by them.

The judges consider the following eight criteria Management Practices; Work Environment; Training and Development Opportunities; Financial Security; Workplace Health and Safety; Work-Life Balance; Recognition and Rewards; and Health and Wellness Programs.
