Micro Games of America™ launches a new AR-enhanced tabletop

CHATSWORTH, Calif., Aug. 23, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Micro Games of America™A division of MGA entertainment (MGA), today announced the launch of its Kickstarter campaign to launch its new AR-enhanced tabletop game Haunted Your House™, the first title in its new proprietary App-Vanced™ game series. The game’s beta, which combines the best of tabletop and AR gaming in an immersive and social experience for families and gaming enthusiasts, was launched at Gen Con in August and received great interest, response and feedback. Haunt Your House supporters through the Kickstarter campaign will support further development and improvement of the game ahead of an expected broad launch in late Summer 2023 and will be eligible for special exclusive offers such as an expanded Deluxe Edition set or expanded multiple Standard Edition sets.

In Haunt Your House, players act as paranormal investigators searching a haunted house with the help of their AI assistant, Boogle™. Using a smartphone or tablet, players hunt for AR monsters that pop up from the physical game board. When the game board is overrun, players must trap monsters in their own house and bring them back to the haunted house.
