BOERNE, Texas , June 24, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — The City of Boerne received three “Best of” awards in the 2ndnd Annual Texas Travel Awards. Brought to life by the editors of Austin monthly, San Antonio Magazineand Texas musicthe awards were created to celebrate the best travel destinations and attractions in the Lone Star State.
Boerne was selected as a winner in three categories: Dickens on Main won Best Community Event | Small Market and national awards go to Art al Fresco for Best Public Art and the Hill Country Mile for Best Shopping District.
“We are pleased that Boerne was awarded in these categories; It’s really great to see the city’s efforts Visit Borne, and our local business owners are recognized at the state level,” said Danny Zincke, Assistant City Manager. “Creating fun and meaningful experiences for our residents and visitors is our priority, and Dickens on Main, Art al Fresco and the Hill Country Mile definitely reflect that.”
Boerne, approximately 25 miles north of San Antonio, offers a variety of modern, historic and unique hotels and rentals, as well as numerous activities that make it a perfect destination for a day trip, weekend getaway or multi-day vacation.
